Urban Chicken Keeping Workshop Next Week

Eastside Cooperative is hoting an urban chicken-keeping workshop Aug. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 2551 Central Ave. NE in Minneapolis.
This workshop is approved by Minneapolis Animal Care and Control. Attending one approved workshop is part of the required process to obtain a backyard chicken permit from the city of Minneapolis.
Participants must pre-register for the workshop of their choice by contacting Wayne Martin at marti067@umn.edu, or at 612-625-6224.
