Minnesota Ag Connection - 01/25/2024

The University of Minnesota Extension is hosting a free zoom course, "Direct to Consumer: Basics of Marketing Your Farm Products," aimed at farmers and vendors eager to improve their direct marketing skills. Scheduled from February 6 to February 20, the course consists of three one-hour sessions, each taking place from 6 to 7 p.m. Central time.

This course is particularly beneficial for beginning farmers, farmers market vendors, livestock operators marketing meat directly, specialty crop operators, and small farm operators. Participants will learn essential skills in assessing their market, determining effective pricing strategies, and creating impactful promotions. The course also includes a practical workbook for hands-on learning.

Registration is required for all three sessions. In its commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, the University of Minnesota Extension ensures equal opportunity for participation. Accommodation for persons with disabilities is available upon request, preferably two weeks prior to the event's start.

This educational opportunity is an invaluable resource for those in the agricultural sector looking to strengthen their direct-to-consumer marketing techniques.
