you.
The University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships (www.rsdp.umn.edu) will be hosting an online presentation by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture about this opportunity and how to apply on March 28 at 2 p.m.
Register for the presentation at http://z.umn.edu/gfap. For questions, contact Karen Lanthier at korsl001@umn.edu or 612-624-8452.
The Minnesota Department of Agriculture's (MDA) Good Food Access Program (GFAP) is now requesting grant proposals for equipment and physical improvements. For-profit and not-for-profit grocery stores and small food retailers can apply for equipment
to help stimulate sales of affordable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate foods in underserved and low- and moderate-income communities. Purchases may include equipment like retail display coolers and freezers, storage coolers and freezers, shelving, mobile
food trucks, permanent infrastructure at farmers' markets installation costs, and more. $150,000 is available through the GFAP Equipment and Physical Improvement Grant. Proposals are due on April 19 at 4 p.m. CST.
