Bees and Seeds Tickets Available thru Sept. 28

A reminder that Sept. 28 is the last day to get bird ticket prices for Bees and Seeds class with Erin Rupp of Pollinate Minnesota and Koby Jeschkeit-Hagen of Seed Sages. This event takes place on Oct. 1 from 1:30-3:30 at Tiny Diner in South Minneapolis.
Pollinators like bees are critical to the way plants grow and to the production of seeds! Get a chance to observe honey bees up close and learn about the important role they play. Learn more about the relationship between bees and flowers, what's going on with
bees, and ways we can help with Erin Rupp of Pollinate Minnesota and Koby Jeschkeit-Hagen of Seed Sages. You won't want to miss this conversation with these two amazing women! Tickets are $10 if purchased before Sept. 28 and $15 if purchased
Pollinate Minnesota is an education and advocacy organization working toward a better Minnesota for pollinators and people. Erin Rupp is the founder and Executive Director. Erin has been a beekeeper for 10 years and an informal science educator for her
adult life. She serves on Governor Dayton's Committee for Pollinator Protection and is a member of the Minnesota Honey Producers and Minnesota Hobby Beekeepers.
Koby Jeschkeit-Hagen is one seed saver along a long line of great teachers and breeders before her. While her daytime job farm management and community outreach coordination, seed stewardship and biodiversity conservation is a driving force behind her
work. With a masters in Community and Regional Planning, she draws on many approaches to share diverse seed saving, farming and community-building methods
